TRAINING

Over the last 20 years, Structec has placed strong emphasis on the development of the Individual and Multi-Skill Trades of our employees, in order to continually improve the quality of our works and invest in the future of the business. We are a CITB Approved Training Organisation and an active member of the North West Training Group.

Through the recruitment of Apprentices, Structec is committed to training a new generation of construction workers for entry into the industry. We have a history of recruiting apprentices through the CITB and/or local Colleges with a consistent proportion of our workforce as current and graduated apprentices. We have worked extensively in collaboration with local colleges to assist our apprentices in attaining their Level 2 NVQ Qualifications and we have had several progress to achieve Level 3. Moreover, we are engaged in employing apprentices not only in construction trades, but other key areas such as Business Administration.

Our Quality and Performance Manager is responsible for the training and recruitment of apprentices through engagement with local schools and other organisations. Structec is committed to not only training young employees, but all employees as part of our promotion of Continuous Professional Development. As an ISO9001:2015 accredited body, we produce and follow a clear and comprehensive Annual Training Plan, established by our Quality and Performance Manager in collaboration with our Health and Safety Consultants, who ensure that our Training Matrix is fully operational to maximise the skill development of our workforce.
